We have always strived to produce both superior and sustainable wines and we are excited to expand our range beyond our popular Heathcote reds.
Our foray into the world of white wine has brought about this special full-bodied Roussanne. Fruit from nearby Nagambie, was fermented in a 40/60 mix of new and old french oak barrels. The natural richness and spice of Roussanne has been enhanced by ageing sur lie for 10 months with occasional bâtonnage.
The nose offers chamomile, honey and pear aromas with hints of spiced mead, while its palate is filled with flavours of tropical fruit and roasted nuts. This wine’s robust and silky nature lends it to be paired with, not only rich chicken or veal dishes, but also spicy Asian cuisine.
